A land forged from the fires of strife, blood of heroes, and touch of the gods.
Where deeds of great valor, vile evils, and blazing passions intertwine
to shape the course of elven and human history within.

Festival Saturday Morning!

The "Future Publishing" panel went well; small crowd but attentive.  This is the future, but not destined to replace the past.
We get so much of our information now online, but it will, in my opinion, never replace books for pleasure reading.  Oh, sure, lots of people have their Kindle, or their Sony Reader, or their IPad, but let's face it; these are toys and you invest in them about as much as you would in 20-50 books.  And after you buy your toy, you STILL have to buy the ebook itself.
So while I certainly see these devices as excellent for travelers, or those who don't have the space for a library of their own, we'll always have our dog-eared copies of our favorite books around.
At least I know I will.
